Check out our results for New Zealand’s architecture and design awards, and where we’ve been shortlisted (or recognised as winners) over the years. We’d rather be judged by our customers, not our industry peers, which is why we’re often backwards in coming forwards!
In 2023, we received the Regional Gold architecture award for the ‘New Home’ category. Buildings considered for the award are judged against a scorecard of 2000 points (65% for workmanship and 35% for design, style, and functionality). A project must achieve at least 1800 points to attain the Gold Award.
Another 2023 New Zealand Architecture Awards win was being shortlisted in the ‘Highly Commended’ category for TIDA’s Designer Kitchen of the Year. This isn’t the first time Box™ has received a TIDA commendation – being the 2020 winner for the overall award category was a particular highlight. The TIDA Interior Design Awards jury considers project features such as design functionality, impact, aesthetics, and overall innovative approach when judging kitchens.
We were delighted to receive a high commendation in the interior design category at the NZ Wood Design Awards. In another New Zealand Architecture Awards win, the jury considers the best use of novel selection, application, and aesthetic design when assigning an award for this category each year.
